Nomorea build... finally finished.
« on: June 23, 2013, 02:19 PM »
I've picked up my first new school frame...a Nomorea, #42, one of 25 20" frames made. This thing is insane. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but I'm gonna try and do something a bit different.

Yep, the frame is incredibly light. I'm going to be using Landing Gear I think. They look right for a frame this thick. The decals pictured came with the frame.

According to here...

http://www.melonpeel.com/projects/retro/nomorea_001.htm

...they were build to race.

I won't be racing mine though.  :P

popedante, checked your frame out on the museum...very cool.

Decals are on...

I've got some nice Bullseye hubs and cranks on the way for the build too.

Just picked up some Al's Rapid Transit 'CBR' Pro-sized bars for the build. A mix between Cook Bros. bars and S&M Slam bars.  :D

That is going to be one seriously sexy bike.

Nice Al's bars, they are ace.

Personally I wouldn't go for any colour on the bike.  Chrome it up baby  :daumenhoch:

At the moment, I'm thinking of just dropping a splash of red and black in there.

Got a few more bits for the build...

I've got a set of Araya TB-507X rims that I am getting stripped and polished...

...these will be laced to polished Bullseye hubs...
