Moved from BMX Racing because I'd started it there as no-one bothered to tell me we had our own section!! Doh!! Humps:

Thought I'd start a new thread for the forthcoming OSSS Round 6 races at Braintree on Sunday 24th June. Braintree is probably where the idea of racing Old Skool kicked off again in the South of England for those who hadn't taken part in the AlansBMX Series. It was all about getting a few old faces on the track again and the sight of Craig Schofield, Jamie Vince, Sid Salisbury, Tony Slater, Keith Wilson, John Stockwell and a host of others doing it on the Essex track have been highlights of many peoples' days at their Club and Regional meetings over the last couple of years.

This Sunday the Old Skool Summer Series rolls into town again at the revamped track and hopefully the turnout will be good. Unfortunately the meeting, which is Round 6 of the East Anglia Summer Series, clashes with a round of the SOUTH Summer Series @ Andover. This will marginally reduce the entry from those pursing points for themselves or their kids in that Series, but there are still plenty of riders available to do battle including some of the Hersden guys.

So, let's have a show of hands for those that will be there and a show of pathetic excuses for those that won't. I'm officiating at Andover (and Matt & James are points chasing for Brits qualification) so that's my pathetic excuse. Who's next??

I wouldnt miss Braintree for the world, I loved the old track and Im sure I will get used to the new one

Xtremeperv is racing at Braintree using my supergoose, so go easy on him ( well my bike). With the comments put about him after the last round its abit worrying.

I can confirm from my kitchen window half a mile from the track that its been pissing down, and its raining now.
