Right then - this lil' fella came on a 1977 mongoose  everything on the bike was era correct 7b's, messinger seat etc. but did they really make laybacks this early ?

There are no markings on it what-so-ever not even a max height mark etc. It's got a fairly acute angle in comparison to renthals, oddys etc. only clue is a little crusty old decal inside the top of the tube that says "made in japan"

Any thoughts ?  ??? era ? manufacturer ?

Nice one gents  :daumenhoch:

Probably the only part then that's not era correct from what you say, I'd say that's from about 83/84, if not stamps then probably generic Tange/Tioga or other Japanese make  :daumenhoch:
