he used to live down in Kersney near Dover.

What tracks did he use, or was he a member of a club ?

James whas a fairly good flatland rider who even got a 2 or 3 page spread in RAD magaine allong with another flatlander from Folkestone (Mark Guy)
James was also friends with riders such as Phil Dolan and rode a fair bit of south bank in the late 80s and early 90s.
