Hear good and bad about this place at the mo...
Anyone know if they still have the vert ramp?I heard it is linked to the mini ramp?If so is there anything to stop boards rolling on to the vert ramp from the mini?

Last I heard the vert and mini ramps were unchanged, which means they're close to each other, but not linked. There was/is a transfer line, so boards could get wilsonned from one ramp to the other I suppose.   :)

Here's what Philbert said yesterday:

"right i'll get into this as i love to hate the place!

right where the big flatbank section was next to the jump box has gone. from the jumpbox landing now goes into the vertwall then next to that is a long quarter which is now where everyone starts for the run up to the jump box. there is also to volcanos now somewhere next to the jumpbox. i believe the miniramp is still in the same place. that was to be moved to make way for the bowl, but measurements now show it won't fit there so the bowl is now going to be located at the front of the park where the spine was.

also i found out yesterday from a mate that everyone who now enters the park and climbing facilities has to go through a thumb print i.d. it's the only way through the door! apparently it is causing some concerns and upset between many skaters and riders and people are walking away, how long it will last i don't know!"

The vert ramp at Epic is nice Mark, ride it in the day though cause in the evenings its too dark as the lighting is absoloute pants.

Cheers
