It was originally Luc-e's trick. He named it the Elvis Presley, it was on Style Cats i think.

I watched an old Luc-e section on You tube not long ago. Id forgotten how good he was. He was way ahead of his time and loads of the tricks that only he was doing are very trendy tricks now, eg backwards stuff up and down stairs.

does anyone remember the section on standard country where he kicks the dude off his bike in a comp?

Phil and I were there! It was a balancing comp for a laugh at Rampage everyone had to roll around the park without putting their foot down, Luc-e won it when he kicked the other lad's bike and knocked him off it was really funny and Luc-e is one of the nicest blokes you'll ever meet as well as the master of tech street!

cheers everybody!

as soon as i have broadband next week (YES!) i'll be able to watch it myself.

and on luc-e, the guys a technical genius and the person i've stole most of my tricks from! thanks luc-e wherever you may be.

he did a real good elvis presley on either standard country or euro tour (can't remember without watching them both) in the dark on a flat bank with sparks flying from the pegs hitting the floor! looked awesome

Can we do it like the Generation Game? C.B.C.L. can show a load of us how, and then we can all have a go, with hilarious results!!!  :LolLolLolLol:

So thats what the're called, an Elvis, nice one. :4_17_5:

I've seen people pulling down my local park when its rained and you cant use the ramps. I've nearly got them, but they are so slow it looks proper gay, and i nearly dislocate my wrist when I try them.

I like Alex's idea of a show how and we can all film ourselves being rubbish. Then when we've got that wrong for ages we can move onto hang10s.

looks like an elvis comp at epic then!

i'll try and write some instructions and hand them out at the park!

joe's got the drift of it though!

practice the 'loose grip' technique. doesn't have to be on a bike. use whatever tool you feel necessary, for best results something that feels familiar and i recommend practicing twice a day

Thanks Phil for showing me the Elvis last night.... Not as difficult as it looks...  ;)

Although I don't think I did it completely properly, I think i got the jist of it.  Must to the disgust of Laz...  ;D  Sorry Laz

Although I do suggest using gloves as I felt it was gonna rip through my hand...
