Polishing before Chrome
« on: August 16, 2007, 10:09 PM »
Ok Im going to get my Gen 1 Rechromed (about time  :idiot2:)

& I want to polish the life out of it before I take it to the chromers, just so I know Im going to get a really top job done on it  :)

But what do I polish it with  ???

Can I buff it or use a dremile, do I use any solvents, T-Cut, wet & Dry ?

Iv never done anything like this before.

& there is no chrome on it at the moment, its just bare metal...

just sell it to me lol
i think biagio uses emery cloth
just go easy on the welds
but a dremmel in the hard to reach places would work
and needs to be very shiny as will show up under chrome if not
