Just finishing my lads new retro GT performer....it'll be his first 'proper BMX' and he wants to go to some skate parks.....he's just coming up to 12 but i would like him to wear a helmet........any advice on them for a 12 year old? i don't think i'll get him to wear a full face one so what is a good p*ss pot style one to get him?

Loads of decent piss-pots; TSG, 661, etc...
But, I'd get him to wear a full face...it's worth it.

If you love him you'll get him a full-face though.

that sure is a lovely looking lid! my only thought is that he just wouldn't want to wear a full face while just learning to ride the bike.......of course when/if he starts to get the nack of the thing then a full face is a must! but for learning/riding to school and stuff i thought a P*ss pot style lid would at least still look 'cool' while giving his nut a little protection?
i do like the look of that lid though Priv!
