Started me half pipe the other week , made a 3rd of the base and in the middle of cutting out the tranys , saturday we will be screwing them up so it should look a bit like a ramp then .
We are just waiting on a bit more wood . Hopefully it will be done within the month or so .
Have a look at the pics , we are having sutch a happy time building this , i've been dreaming of this since i was in school designing it back in 1986 and now its finnally happening ....

Nice mate. My dad made me a quarterpipe when I was a nipper. Would love another one in my own garden now.

The Specs as follows
16 ft wide x 8ft trannys x 4in vert x 14 ft flat bottom . 1 deck 4ft deep the other 6ft deep with 2ft canyon rollin (a bit like someone else's ramp on here , can't quite remember , think stuples or some ones) (sure someone will remind me) .

Very similar to mine, which is 16ft wide, 8ft trannys but no vert, 2 4ft decks, 15ft of flat bottom and a 2ft roll in on one side

Just got to ride it a bit now

All the base timbers were joists from a house we were renavating at the time so they were free, but the rest came to about £1350 I think. It could have been a bit cheaper if I hadn`t bought 12 sheets of 19mm marine ply at £36 a sheet

I only used the marine ply on the areas that are on the flat levels as they get most of the weathering, the timber on the transitions is 4x2 tanilised

Those ramps are superb. My Dad built a Quarter pipe but you always had to find somewhere with a decent run up area to put it on, you don't need to worry about that with a half pipe.

I think it might be time to build myself a small trick ramp, not sure whare I could put it though.
