DiamondBack Turbo Lite restore project - help needed
« on: November 20, 2006, 03:10 PM »
Hi all

I am in the mids of a restoration project of a Diamondback Turbolite, the frame was previously painted blk by ex owner of which I have managed to get it back to the Chrome but want to get it back to the orig smoke chrome does anyone know who might be able to assist in getting this done ? other than that I have all the parts !! less the cranks which I will continue to search for.

I have tried a couple of local alloy wheel specialists but they could not help

any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Russell

its a completly different colour to a pro class, the turbo has a tint of blue and the pro class has a tint of brown, if the chrome is in good order you can put a tint over it but if you breath on it  too hard it will come off, scary leary knows the name of the laquer

Thanks for the links I will have a read through in detail, I have seen the ghost chrome was not too impressed with the colour to light but the DB was a darker black liek you stated with a hint of blue or something any other info on this would be greatfully recieved

Thanks again in advance
