Profile imperial sprocket adaptor
« on: June 28, 2014, 04:27 PM »
I need an adaptor to fit my Profile Sprocket to the 19mm spindle.  I bought an adaptor that was meant to be 22mm - 19mm but the outer edge that slots into the sprocket is actually 23.75mm.  Does anyone know where I can buy one from?  If I order direct from Profile the shiopping cost is $30!!

Wrong one - its a 23.6mm external.  Alan's used to stock them, but no more..........  I don't know why they always list them as a 19 to 22 adaptor.... needs to be 22mm To 19mm Spindle- (4mm thick) Fits sprockets with 22mm hole to crank with 19mm spindle.

Danscomp list the following:

Popular- (4mm thick) Fits sprockets with 15/16" (24mm) hole to crank with a 19mm spindle.
Profile- (4.5mm thick) Fits sprockets with 7/8" hole to crank with a 3/4" (19mm) spindle.
Primo- (4mm thick) Fits sprockets with 15/16" (24mm) hole to crank with a 22mm spindle.
22mm To 19mm Spindle- (4mm thick) Fits sprockets with 22mm hole to crank with 19mm spindle.

was going to suggest checking it ,   had the same trouble before ,  would seem that most are listed as 22-19mm adaptors when they are in fact 23.75 outer diameter

I mailed Profile and asked them why postage was so much for such a tiny part.  They then passed my details onto their European supplier who contacted me today.......

"Hi your email has been passed to me from profile racing. We have the adaptor you need. This will be approx £5.00 with postage. If you can email sales@profileeurope.co.uk or call 02380458328 with your payment details and delivery address we can get it out to you on a next day service. Thanks Sam"

Excellent stuff.  I don't know why I couldn't find the European supplier details through Google though.
