TWO takes on PK's
« on: May 26, 2014, 12:52 PM »
A nice day to get the bikes out  for few pics ,, albeit I dont know how to use my daughters camera  :crazy2:
Doesnt do Dan's Baby blue justice really

Two takes on the Ripper ,

,Classic Baby blue livery PK5 (1982 ? ) & NOS Landing gear forks, race setup  :smitten:

and  the ball burnished with 1st gen Landing gears ,more , well Race/Street  set up PK6 (1983 ? )  8)

and another one to come ,,PK4 (1981 ? ) awaiting its new coat  ;)

PK5 Blue kitted out in NOS gold ,mostly SunTour spec , stem ,clamp, chainring , freewheel ,XCII's, with SR tubular crank,SR hubs on UKAI speedlines with NOS Panaracer fat/thin rubber  :)

Built the Ball burnished one has bits I think that really suits it,,,all chunky ..just like the framest  :daumenhoch:

Brute stem, CW Pro bars, OG SM racing Mushrooms, DX crank and pedals  (NOS end caps NOT  repro  ;) )Mitsuboshi  Grippa tyres Hatta KONGO headset , and TUFF II's

Maybe it's a good job you didn't ..... most of our bikes look like mountain bikes this morning , cack high in Bury dirt after an off road excursion :crazy2:  . It was a great laugh though .  I think Jono will be cleaning the 10 or so bikes he lent out for over a week !!!

but yes .... you should have been there  ;)

Lovely pair Christian, CW bars a nice touch (big boys would be better IMO).

One thing is for certain you always know you're in for a real treat when opening a new Hunterdubber build thread.
