skyway pedal spindles info

Hmmm I hope you van help,  ive got a set of skyway pedals I want to fit to my  3 peice crank. the pedals are 1/2" and the 3 piece accepts 9/16"  or other way round :buck2:
does anyone know which spindles fit that are easliy available? I know about the halfords ones for dx's but vant find any info on the skyway spindles :-\
can anybody point me in the right direction?

not aware of any standard type pedal axles that can be swapped out with skyway ones, there were some Skyway copies around bitd but not sure if the axles were a straight swap.  Might be worth looking at a trade to see if anyone has a set they want to swap axles on.

i could be wrong on this,but i've always been under the impression that Skyway axles were slightly oval as they have no bearings and spin on their grease,nothing more.

really? wow ill have to have a look, I havnt bothered trying to strip them out yet.  thats different if it is.  :coolsmiley:
