Another E.T restoration
« on: November 21, 2012, 02:04 PM »
The photos at the end with the 2 bikes the one with the race plate is my NOS version, finished one of these earlier in the year and it looked pretty special this is to the same standard but with a few more hard to find parts. enjoy. If you have deep pockets it will be up on ebay later this week.  ;)

Lovely.  I take it the Ukai's have been refinished as I can see a line beneath that looks like brake-rub on the rear wheel.  Were they Powder coated?  If so, how did you retain the speedlines?

No that one sold off of ebay to a rad member in a few days, it had the same paint job and decals as I was restoring them both at the same time. This bad boy has ET logo seat and Kuwahara Logo 80x Tires  ;)

Hi, Yeah they were the original rims on the surviving bike that I had redone. Regards

The decals are from a guy in Germany, the one's that Del has are good as I sent him some pics and he updated his artwork so the headtube decal has the double line round I have a few sets of those that i'll sell on at some point. Regards

Hi Yeah both bikes are mine (the all black tire version is the NOS bike) i bought to survivors a few years back with the plan to built one sell one, I then ended up getting hold of a NOS one so carried on restoring the 2 with the view of selling at least one of them maybe both. Regards
