does anyone know where i can get brass plating done,not chrome on brass ,but brass on steel, for a mongoose gold stem ,as i have been told they used this method,then they lacquered any info much appreciated

not sure on that but gold plating doesnt cost much more than chrome may be worth considering...

i think its copper and not brass thats used prior to plating

doug taylor in weston super mare does all sorts of plating mainly for classic cars and bikes really good quality too chromed some bars for me but it was £45 look on the interweb thingy for his name

when they did my bars the nickel plated them first then chrome

Sawzall, finally got the number of that chroming guy in Hayes, Middx - 0208 573 1359, apologies for the delay, I forgot all about it and then went on holiday!
