Mission took average no name frames and stickered them up as their own.  Put some ok parts on, and they sold for 300+, in the mid 90's.

The later ones (like you have) were mostly copies of existing frames (anyone remember the standard shorty copies - same kinda deal).

The complete bikes were ok, at first.  But they did have some fruity components, like snake posts.

I have a mission "pulse" in my attic.  It was an ok bike, cost £330 back in 1996.
Came with odyssey brakes, quando sealed hub 48's and a slew of copy components.  And some evil bear traps.

I have a feeling that mission prior to 1996 also made the bike called the "totally integrated trick system" with unfortunate decals that read: T.I.T.S. (and was the same as the "pulse")

My friend "Jim" owned the mission pulse that I still have.  A standard joke was asking Jim to get his tits out.

The TITS bike was actually not bad!

I think Fishbone also used these frames with their complete bikes too.

The Pulse bike (like your frame) had some horrific graphics too.

But, it got my mate Jim riding again in 1996.
Another mate at the same time bought a Raleigh bike - called (lol) the ALAGANDO SPIN (or something like that)

Bear in mind this was pretty much pre internet days, and we would buy complete bikes from car spares shops!
I myself bought an RL240.  fooking loved that bike, and rode the wheels off it.  I still have it too.

Sorry mate.  No offence intended.  Do you have a snakepost?

The Mission Pulse my mate had seemed like a solid bike.
But as I said, in amongst the sealed hub 48's, gyro and pegs all round, there were some odd components - snakepost and bear trap pedals.
Needless to say the snakepost bent pretty early on and got discarded.  He run the beartraps for years though!
I think the post took a couple of feet-off-the-pedals sketchy landed jumps, and by the nature of its crumple zone design, it gave in.
Having the bend that low down with extra inches of leverage above it invites bending.

The zip posts were ok, for getting your seat further back and out of the way. And by the 90's the seattube/toptube junctions were strong enough to take them.
But a layback on an old school frame, with the thin metal plate round the seattube junction - they were so weak. And having the seat not pushing directly down on the tube, instead trying to flex it back - it was like taking a crow bar to that junction each time you came down hard on the seat.

Mission made trials bikes too, There's a chap in Halifax has 2x24" wheel frames, but they do look more trials than bmx cruiser, Mission currently make special needs trikes and kids bikes

Yeah, all the earlier than '98 sealed hubs bit's n bobs I think were for MTB's - also Mission didn't start producing bmx's till 1998? :) posted on a thread over at the Museum a few weeks ago with this (woof woof at the  model etc): Worth noting the 'Groundforce' is the same frame as the Fishbone BA minus peg bosses ;) :

That's a little odd.
My buddy definately got his late summer 1996, from a shop in Stafford called Henry Burton.
It had the same bars as the "groundforce" - KHE Fat Bob copies.  They bent quite easily.
The sealed hubs on his were made by "Quando" (I still have those wheels)

Ride did a test on one of these bikes (I probably have the mag somewhere)

On one of their bikes they had the pegs with the "grind rings"!!!  They were alloy flatland pegs, but with a ring that was separate and revolved when "grinding". Hahaha
