Old magazines and books
« on: November 02, 2010, 09:54 AM »
Good morning,

Long time lurker, new member.

I got a wee surprise at my mum and dads house this weekend, a box of old mags and books from way back in the day.

They are :-
Issues 15 - 53 (inclusive) of BMX Action Bike (39 issues) From Feb 1984 Onwards
1983 BMX Action Book
1984 BMX Action Hots Hots Book
1983 BMX book by Dave Spurdens
1984 BMX Freestyle book by Dave Spurdens
1985 Holeshot Souvenir Programme
1986 Holeshot Souvenir Programme (signed by Carlo Griggs)
Melanie Vauvelles Rad BMX Catalogue
Freestyle BMX Magazine Volume 1 Issue 3
Freestyle BMX Magazine Issues 16-33  (inclusive)
Freestyle BMX Magazine Issues 37-41 (inclusive)
Freestyle BMX Magazine Oct/Nov '87 and Issue 44 Dec '87 along with Jan, March, April, June (Supplement with letter from Peter Noble, July, Aug, Sept, Oct and Nov 1988.

These are all in near mint condition with no pages missing.

He is going to check the rest of the loft as there may be more lurking there.

I was going to put them on ebay but wanted to get some feedback about how I should list them, as individual items or as job lots.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Gary,

First up, cheers for the reply.

I am looking thro Freestyle BMX May 1988 Issue for you and there's no Skyway test, just a Pacer Scooter.

This one's not up for grabs though, I am keeping any mags that have any of my pics or articles in them.

I will have a look through the rest of them for you to see if I can get the Skyway test for yow.

Ta,

Dave

If you want to sell them then individually on ebay is the way to get most money.

If you want to sell that at a decent price to BMX people then wack them on here  :daumenhoch:

EBAY or pay your site supporters fee so you can sell in the For Sale Section.

I'd be interested in the 1998 Freestyle BMX's if I haven't got them.

Also the Holeshot and Melanie Vauvilles.........hopefully she's modelling bras Not Bars!!!   :daumenhoch:

When you list..............state the Volume and Issue Numbers and condition etc, etc.   Its a ball ache trying to figure out which magazines are the one's you need.
