STRANGE HOBBY SOMETIMES

Now why would someone who builds bikes like this, rip me off He answered a wanted post on the museum and offered me some mint Ti Hutch hubs. We had a little haggle on price and agreed $260 posted, anyway Brett said he would post em out a.s.a.p to beat the xmas post and also send me a tracking number, could i send as a gift. So thinking well i dont know this guy and he has only 4 feedback i decided to send and pay the fee, none gift. Anyway as soon as i paid him that was it no more replys to my messages e-mail or other, (I paid him on the 16th Dec) by the 28/29th Dec having still heard not a dickie i started a paypal dispute (thank fook i didnt gift it to him) anyway a day later he responds through paypal saying he had been away blah blah, and sort of maid out i was out of order for starting a dispute. Anyway i thought well ok, so i asked him for a tracking Number, he gave me one, only USPS dont recognise it at all, so cut a long story short a few more messages with one of em stating this is why he dont deal with Museum members  he stopped all contact. I have escalated the dispute into a claim, my point is this

Why why put yourself out to sell something you know fine well you aint gonna sell, as if it will go away.....Strange hobby this sometimes

That's sh!t mate - I've always been a bit fearful of posting wanted threads up on any forum other than here - I guess It's easy for someone to respond to a want ad saying they have the item you need when really they could be full of shoyt 

Like you say though - seems strange as he has a decent collection of nice bikes so is obviously into the scene - why fook someone over - twunt

bought a complete loopy ripper on yank ebay 3 years back , only just got into bmx , over the moon i was till i found out off here that heath mccaffrey , also had other aliases , was notorious for it , owed 1000 s out , done or is still doing bird for it over in the states

Heath was /is a crook made me wait over 90 days for some Supergoose forks ,, yeah I eventually got them but not without aggrro
again he must've thought I'd pay and forget about them , oh yes very likely , fookin p3nis

Another good reason not to buy anything off that site, all I read about it how folks get ripped off or the trolls and flamers on anyone who dares to question anyone else on the site  .
