1986. freestyle had me hooked. wheel balance on albany rd, cardiff. this was on a rebel freestyler.

1987 . aboard a vincent airzone. backwards barspin infinity roll at cardiff uni. smooth.
and then riding a haro master as the vincent only lasted 2 weeks (cracked in 6 places so swapped for a toffee crisp and a punctured innertube
).

1989 riding phil bevans halfpipe in mynachdy, cardiff. haro 88 grey/black master- sure this was terry jenkins old one, mike cameron had it then me.
1990. cherrypicker under gabalfa flyover. red/black 88 master
1 footer on the massive rhiwbina halfipe, cardiff. highest point in cardiff and built on a hillside. scary when you come off but great times. many great riders visited this too apart from the welsh suspects- greg guillotte, angry brown, lee reynolds, etc.
1 hand 1 footer(glyn lewis style - or a 1 hand dog piss air in todays terms.)
same year aboard a hutch trickstar. steamroller.
1991 and back on a 85 master. very strange after a trickstar. disaster , tonypandy mini ramp in a scout hall. class.
and a backside boneless on llandaff fields ramp.

and a footplant up in port talbot.
and some air on the midi.

1992. 360 out of bedminster bowls,bristol. (the council should never have filled these in.)
1992. on a 91 ground master. top ride. backward candybar half decade to pedals at the watertower, cardiff.
and a 1 foot backwards framestand as part of the half time entertainment for cardiff heat basketball team.( this was on cardiff ice rink but they put wood floor for the games. good times.)
and a turndown off the tiny lip/wedge.
built up this bashguard master from parts i had. think evo thrashed it to death. never rode it myself. (my flat bike in background.)

1993. decade kickturn in my infamous leather jacket.
radlands. (was always up there with pritchard filming for my skate videos.)
tyretap on dainton's backyard mini. tight space.
fashions eh. padded up.
and over the spine at weston super mare. never liked spines, especially as i had a handgrenade in steel smack me in the back of my head a few months later when i hung up ,and got buckeroo'd. ouch. this spine was big and steep so not the easiest to learn on.
1994. riding at the blocks car park,cardiff on a usa made hoffman big daddy. car park not the best but at least you rarely had any hassle.
1995 and at the watertower again. backwards bar stand.

1997. newport sk8park opened so rode flat,mini, vert, street and park regulary.

1998. no footer air with a mad face. used to get me feet back on pedals just as the wheels touch down. scary.

1998. alley oop at newport. ended up wreaking my ankle ligaments on one which i went too high to a stop dead landing. (foot curled around pedal and sprung back. ouch!)
whip attempt on newport big vert ramp. came so close but no trophy. slide outs, landed standing on the seat which bucked me sideways etc. even tried the whip to whip back then and the fakie 3 whip( came round plenty but always slid out). got some on video somewhere i'll have to upload.
ended the year with a compressed fractured spine due to a car hitting me off my mtb. time out.
1999. and due to bike nicked from sk8park i had to fork out for a new ride. s & m sabbath ( ton weight.)

2001-also wreaked my knee on a 3 whip attempt at newport. months of bed rest, physio and boredom. still shot to bits but just about workable.
2002. cardiff sk8park handstand while ant airs overhead.

the backwards bar spin infinty roll. i always get asked to do this wherever we go and it amazes new skoolers and the public. it has now been named 'the crowdpleaser'
by many of me mates.
