WoW Scott

That's come on very well, and some tasty chrome and parts.

Shotgun 2's look pretty cool too - but of course they are not cheap either.

Is it Lee A's old factory ride? If so, does it have any special markings - a different serial or anything?

Looking forward to seeing the progress pictures.

J.

j i didnt know anything about it when i did the deal with radman but after a recent pm it turns out yes it belonged to LEE ALEXANDER.i checked the serial last night and it seems to have and A at the start of it.not sure if it relevent but the serial is A054579.could the A stand for ALEXANDER.
maybe radman can tell us something?

Lee is a member here but if you like I'll drop him a note to take a look at this link, but he does have a memry like a sive  :LolLolLolLol:.  I used to ride a lot with Lee bitd so used to know him well and meet him when he's in Hayes and often exchange emails, he also lived two doors down from my wife so they grew up together  :daumenhoch:

Got an email back from Lee....

"Hi Marty, seems it is my old bike but bugger me he has been busy with it – still good to see it going to some one who has taken the time to restore it, it would have rusted away in my garage for years.

No serial number I’m afraid but I do know it was not one of the original ones made in the US it came from Taiwan I think."

There you go, some World Champion history for it but probably not quite what you had in mind :daumenhoch:

well done marty we are gettin somewere.

the serial number on this one is located at the bottom of the left dropout no baseball logo, also the rear brake bride is the nice western style so that would make this one japanese and not tiawan :daumenhoch:

Alright guys, can you get it built for the Brits and if so can I race it?

I used to ride it with all white bits including the a white CD chain ring which I used to think was the nuts!

I do have tons of pics but no scanner - I could bring them to a race when is the MK doo?

That's what I thought too.  Which mag is that from?  How could they get it so wrong?
