if i ever get my arse to a meet,what's the crack with plates and numbers??


do we get given a plate?
or do we  buy one ourselves?

who allocates the  numbers?
and do we have to buy the numbers?

put what ever you want mate as long as there are no similar numbers and dont use just the
no 1  thats mine

It aint like the old days as you can pretty much choose your no, if you are
just gonna do the odd regional but stick to the same one once its in the
system. Nationals is a different ballgame and you need to join British
Cycling and get your own 3 digit no to use untill you race a season and
use your ranking no for the next year, hope this helps. Kev.

Even at nationals you can claim a number if no one else is using it, so if your in Masters or 30-39 crowsers you could be 77 as no one will be ranked number 77. I use my ranking each year, you can't beat a single didgit on your plate!!

Old school races, if you want to use your favourite number 69 get to registration first and claim that baby. If anyone else signs on with that number they'll have to put an "X" on their plate.

mini look better as the hbars are smaller

mini plate are designed for the smaller handlebars and you should get the the one its £15 and an extra 30p a number from groove the best trackside stool in the world lol

I got an Answer mini plate for my cruiser from Groove, it fits my S&M cruiser slams lovleyjubley.

I personaly wouldn't recomend the mini THE one, it's lipped over at the bottom and has scratched the head tube on my nephews bike something terrible.

i've had a look on groove for the 1st time today,i'll be purchasing something in the not too distant  future.
