Last week I finished my Pro Racer and today it was the turn for the 84 Pro Star.
Almost all parts are correct, I think

Excuse me for being ignorant but what's the difference between a pro star and a pro racer - is it just the spec ?

Also : where d'you get the silver pads from - not seen them before and I want a set fro my black pro racer

Hey Chris,
the Pro Star was only a complete bike with all the good Hutch stuff on it!
They used a Pro Racer or Expert racer frame and fork to built the Pro Star's!
The pad set is a repro set made by mtbnj from VintageBMX, his name is Tom.
But I cut of a piece of the downtube pad because looked to fat.
