seems a tad expensive to me  :-\  for that sort of money i'd rather buy custom gear from whatever company you like?

get the whole bike for £599

Yep - waaaaay overpriced. You could buy better seperates for that amount of lolly :)

As above have all said. They are for people with too much money and no imagination. You can buy the best quality parts second hand and build a top notch rider for a lot less than that.

Astonishingly naive of United / Source pricing the kit so high, really.  :idiot2:

That kit could have been a fantastic way of introducing peeps to custom builds, and drawing new customers into buying a high end custom frame from them.  :coolsmiley:

I reckon with the right pricing structure that kid could go a bomb. But, some peeps are just plain greedy, so there you go......

£529 for the kit, or, as Rob has pointed out, £599 with a nice frame thrown in and built up. Plain daft.  :idiot2:

That was my initial though... "what a nice idea to do a parts kit"

Looking around you can get A LOT of very nice custom parts for that sort of money
