As some  of you guys may know, WFO (Johnny Severin-Factory SS and welder for GT, Supercross and others back in the day) ) has made a few sweet double gusset" Webco" 26 inchers.  Given Rick Twomey's input into the original design and manufacture of the original frame, WFO built a specialy one of a kind frame for Rick

The basic premise was the first generation frame with the original single gusset, "cigar stay" and non-drilled seatstay bridge similar to the RBS Webco that was ridden to many victories by many of Rick's riders like John Palfreyman, Thom Lund, Bobby Encinas, Dougie Takahashi and other racers.

Being a one-off frame the serial number reads RT-W001

The finished product followed:

A couple of  original Webco products decal was used to honor the tradition of the brand

Given that the original Webco (along with the whole of the RBS team) was no frills working class racing machine, similar components that were available in the early 70s was used to accentuate that legacy such as a Messinger seat,  Schwinn heavy duty steel rims, ACS front hub with Bendix 70 rear coaster along with a Schwwinn bottom bracket, headset, stem and other items.

In the same tradition of working class items, a Schwinn 70's cruiser fork was used to hold up the front end.  Some Tioga tires were used and I can't help but notice how they kinda look like the old Carlisle Aggressors

a set of genuine early 70's Viking motorcycle bars used (thanks Brett!)  and the old tried and true Oury grips.

Following the reputation of the Rick's Bike Shop team and pit-tootsies, a suitable subject was found to model the bike at the OM's recent get-together.

Patti Twomey at the helm..

The frame is great and great thanks go out to WFO for his skills.

Special thanks go out to Chris at Alpha Bikes in Vista, CA for keeping the store open late so the bike could be finished
