It was a joke but it might actually be the best option.  I've only had the cruiser for 1.5 weeks now and I put a lot of time into finding a decent affordable bike to suit my size/weight, so I need to be careful before I start chopping and changing.  Also a lot of the old school bikes and bits aren't exactly cheap (understandably so for the gear that's been painstakingly restored).

You mad buggers have definitely re-ignited an old passion!

True steve, some tracks are way more gnarly these days, especially manchester which had the worst old school turn out of all the regionals. Even though it has a strong BCF representation. And you often see 2 of the peeps that thru old school off the brit calender there. Shame on them.
