what to fill a frame with prior to painting?

got a f&f in ok condition bar a couple of deep scratches & stone chips ,
want to get it powdered but want to do the preping myself .
what can you use to fill the frame prior to powdering?
on cr-mo or steel ? thanks :daumenhoch:

i doubt you mean the scratches and chips are in the steel,  do mean the paint is scratched ?

just strip all the paint off and 'viola'...   chips and scratches gone...

if your sending your frame/forks to a decent powder coater then they

wont want you to do any prep as they will want to do it  themselves so they

know how to get the best results :daumenhoch:
