« on: August 13, 2005, 06:21 PM »
O.K.
To keep my mind a bit off, I've decided to build up my 84 Torker Pro-X.
I wanted to wait till I got the decals, but.......
BTW Has someone decals for this one?
Part list:
84 Torker Pro-X frame (I needed to replace the seattube)
Look a like Torker fork with selfmade "repro" dropouts
copy black pro neck stem
satin black powdered aray rims with black suzue sealed hubs
DC seatpost clamp
DC MX 1000 brake
tech 3 style lever
a'me tri grips
bullseye crank
tuff neck chainwheel
tioga comp III tires
kmc chain
kashimax aero seat
some old school bars and seatpost
zeronine plate

Don't know about the pad set?
Like to find a black Torker pad set!

"YOU GONA RACE IT?"
Nope I don't ride my old school bike at all!
"what are them cranks like? expensive i bet?"
Just traded these cranks for a NOS SE jersey from eazrly '80s  ;)

I'm trying to repro the decals myself (the ones with a extra red line)

Let me know how those decals come out.

I have those ones with the red line, and I haven't seen them anywhere else. So even thought they are a little scratched I am keeping them on.

Nice build - but then I have always loved Torkers!

:)
