Cheers!! Just tell you my misses is at casulty with my daughter as she fell off today!! So the other prob I have is the wife does not know im racing! Or that my race bike is being built in secret in my mates carpet shop! Oooooh I luv to live on the edge!

Ok I have watched the videos! Whats with the guy doing all the tail whips? whats that about? I'll be happy to still be upright at the end!!
Anyway guys couple of questions? do I pick any number? and I have some rigida rims with shimano sealed hubs and twisted spokes of my MRD badlander are they ok? Plus the front wheel hub is as rough as sandpaper can I still regrease it as I think its sealed because it has like a plastic cone dome kind of thing on it? I have some mint ukai! but what if I scratch them? Whats the best helmet( sorry cheapest!) and finally why am I doing this ? A week ago I had luvly show bikes in the dining room now I have secret race bike builds going on in my mates shop?

Any number will be OK,provided it`s not taken already.Have a look at the start of the thread,there`s usually details of who`s riding what number.Wheels/hubs will be fine.Have a look at 661 for all your safety gear,Chainreaction are good + free postage too.As for why you`re asking this,it`s because your life`s not over yet!

Thanks I can't wait to see my kids faces when I ride up to the start line ! They already think I'm nuts ! I quite fancy getting some nice air tho even if I'm at the back! In fact I noticed there was plenty of space at the back just for me!

Ok bit of advice needed! I want to enter in a true spirit so what about tyres do they matter? and I am worried about my wheels, I've got some but I think there from the early 90's? Even tho I will be last(assuming I finish?) I would like to be on a proper mount!?!

You can use any wheels dude... flimsy plastic skyways not recommended... lol

Half the os field are on bikes from the nineties so i wouldnt worry...

1" threaded headset and caliper brake are the rules...
