Torker Resto
« on: August 21, 2009, 08:42 PM »
I restored my original Torker from bitd a couple of years ago but just found the pics I took before the restoration began.  Thought you might like to see 'em.  Some of you may have seen the finished result but the 'before' pics have never been up.  Bike as she came out of my Dads' loft in 2007.

Originally bought from Suntal Cycles in Oldham and over the years had so many different parts on I decided to use black and chrome in the re-build.

It has to be said that I hadn't found Rad at the time of restoration and didnt have a clue where to go or who to ask.  I stumbled across Biagio and I have to say he was totally sound in helping me get the results I wanted.  He's been 100% all the way with me so a big thanks to him for all his hard work.  Cheers.  :daumenhoch:

Cheers Paul.  Group pic is on the cards mate but me and my missus were buying a house together (one with a bike room!!) earlier this year but when I lost my job in the New Year, the house we had a deposit on had to fall through.  So at the minute we're in her 2 bed apartment and all my bikes are in storage in Helen's Mums' loft conversion!  It was only supposed to be for a few months and its getting on for ten now!

I'm back at work and on a full term contract now so should be able to get a mortgage and buy a bigger house very soon.  When all that happens, the collection will be in their new home and pics will flow!!!

I'm chuffed my BMX are safe but really miss being able to go and have a mess around with them like when they were at my house in their own room!!

The Phaze One is one of my fave builds!!!!!
