my 91 Haro ground Master finished
« on: August 16, 2009, 02:59 PM »
right......after seeing the footage of the Haro display team at the worlds, i was inspired to find an old Haro Master or Sport....but i really wanted one with AD lugs at the back.
well it all fell into place at MK, Jai turned up and started unloading the huge amount of stuff he had and out came this

i just had to have it!   then i was on the hunt for a set of forks for it........i banged up a few wanted threads and Greg (MotomagII) came up trumps!!  cheers fella! he put me intouch with a bloke who had a NOS set of 91 forks!

well after a few more wanted posts good old Gashead came to my rescue with some NOS Fusion bars, stem and some lovely GT Profiles  :smitten:

i know it won't go down too well with the era correct police and all....but i just wanted to build something colourful and ridable......stodgy worked his magic on the brakes and levers, and as a tribute to him i've put some Primo 'stodgies' pegs on it for that extra bling (but doubled the bikes weight)  :LolLolLolLol:
took it for a cruise and it's fooking smooth!!!   :smitten: :smitten:

Is that cyclesport's evolution wheelset on there?
Do you grovel to your master? Do you beg like a dog?

Only took her for a little cruise but she felt real nice!  Not to short either.....not sure on tt length, I'll measure it next time
I'm over the garage.

As for speed build, it just seemed to come together......although mid school fusion parts arnt too hard to get  :daumenhoch:

Thanks, measurements would be good but no rush.

Just wondered how it compares to the 88 master frame.

fookin sick mate, well done!   Remeber its got a home with me if you ever need to flog it ;)   What levers are they, I want a blue lever?

thanks Guys.......much appreciated  :daumenhoch:

Glen, those are new Oddy levers in ocean blue......the trigger version, they have ran out of the normal shape so Stodgy sent me these....the shape isn't the nicest to look at but they are damn comfy!   :daumenhoch:
