Last week i bunny-hopped up a kerb totally trashed out and lost the end of my finger on a stunt nut.

Looked like a burst sausage!!

Anyone had any recent injuries?

jumped on a mates bmx, 23 years after I last rode one, went five yards forward, turned round, pulled a brake control wheely, back brake failed!

seven seconds in total, on the ground fighting for breath

and just as I was finishing my first build, just in time for summer.

yeah i know mate, heard about it a while a go - fettling a MTB disk brake and forgot.... nearly done it myself... not good.

Anyway thought you lot would like to see it!!! had to pile through 10 months of blog to find it as well.

you'll be glad to know its healed nicely and he even has a bit of a nail again....

sorry dude it wasnt me.... someone i knew of.... though i did manage to squash my middle finger between handlebars and the ground when i went over the bars in a race at braintree. did end up looking like a battered sausage... its not fun....

I smashed the end of my finger on a drill at work

Cos I'm mad I never went 2 the ossie

But when I went out with a nurse years later and told her. She said they would have cut it off so glad I went through all the pain and nursed myself

Just looks flatter than my other fingers now

My brother did a similar thing with an industrial jack..He fell down a pot hole and the jack landed on his hand resulting in the afore mentioned burst sausage finger.

When I asked him if it was the whole finger he said " No the one next to it"
