fsa headsets on midschool bikes
« on: July 21, 2009, 08:35 PM »
ive been given a brand new fsa 1/18th aheadset by a mate for my gt pro series build, now did fsa build headsets in the 90's and did any get used on bmx's?

the headset is a brand new fsa orbit mx worth £50

do you think i could get away with it on a 90's build?

maybe if i could remove the fsa writing it would look ok?

ahh k i might aswell use it on the gt pro series then as it would be a shame to let the headset gather dust, wanted to try and keep the gt era correct but not too fussed really aslong as the major parts are era correct :daumenhoch:

FSA headsets were about in the '90s, remember "the pig" headset with the huge bottom cup? Primo used it as "the gorilla" I think.

GT FSA 1" Headsets (self adjusting) were used on BMX's

http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php'topic=89756.0

So if they did the earlier 1" then they must have done the later 1 1/8
