For some of those that missed MK09 - The holy grail ! Curtis Cruiser
The frame and forks were in a bad way when I sourced it
! Once the chrome was off, we discovered that someone had attacted the frame with a belt sander and the top tube was kinda square !
Doesn't look to bad in this pic, but trust me it was bad !
At first the dechroming look all good !
However then the horror story !
The bottom of the seat post had rotted away, so I took it to Argos Cycles to take a look, only to find someone had welded a seat post inside to butt the seat post tube to the BB !!!!!!! FFS
Anyway they sorted it - and gave her a lick of paint !
Then I dressed her up !

Is it just me or is there something just a bit cooler about a bike that needs proper work to bring it back to this kind of shape than assembling NOS parts???
