Has anyone got (or can you even get) a 15t screw on freewheel for a non flip flop hub?

Im building up a 24" and ive only got 16t freewheels. I think that means I should use a 40t chainring, which I dont have. I think if I use a 15t freewheel I can use a 36t ring, which I do have.

Any help or suggestions?

Alex

Got the Crupi Gearcharts for 24" here PM me your email and ill scan you over a copy.

40/16 = 60
36/15 = 57.6

or 37//15 = 59.2

For racing i run a 41/18 = 54.7

oh forget that Al, the 15 dicta only fits a flip flop hub.

Thanks for the help guys.

A 41/18 is pretty close to 36/16 (I have a gear chart, thanks for the offer tho). I thought that might be a bit easy but it sounds like I might be OK.

If it comes to it I will get a 15t freewheel from colourtuffs (or build a new back wheel with a flipflop hub!)

I'm running a 40/18 on my OS Cruiser and its a bit low.

I'm gonna move up to 41t

Has anyone got a 41t Profile chainring (not chainwheel) to swap for a 40t?
