First bit of air in over 20 years....just about

Finally got out into delamere forest today with one of my mates,after finding some small jumps I thought it was about time to have a go

first attempt was a total wipeout with me on the floor,camera strap around my throat was all good though,after that it didnt feel too bad.....these mountain bikes are totally different though eh

I did have gloves but kept taking them off to use the camera

I know what you mean with the helmet,everybody else was using one....I actually felt like the odd one out

just need to get out more and build up the confidence.......................or should that be stupidity

Hey John, I am glad to see that you are getting out on a bike again. Although I suspect that the pics are of you're mate, or you havent half changed mate!!
I went up there a couple of years ago with some of us on BMX and some on MTB, we found a bit of a downhill race track, which was great, until the mass pile up at the end.
We also seen some kids on jump bikes, going over 6 foot high mud ramps, and doing 360's over them, no fear at all. We were all stunned.
I have some photos of that day, I will post them later.

Alright Shaun,no definitely me mate I dont think I have changed that much............about 6 stone,a lot less hair and slightly more grey ....................and dont forget the 23 years since we were at school together

No, now I have seen that other picture, you haven't changed much mate.
The pics from the side, and I have to say, the grey hair threw me.
Anyways mate, I will stop digging that big hole I have dug there, and move on to the pic I have of Delamere.
