hi there,could someone tell me if skyway mags are made in the US or the UK. i only want to know as i have a white set that says made in the uk.just curious really.
so whats the history.
also can Simplex mags have their hubs retightened.ive got a set with loose hubs but with the riveted hubs cant see how they adjust.
any one any help??

One of the Burner guys on here should be able to help, try pm'ing Beard...or you could start a thread on the Burnerworld forum.
Simplex were a French made wheel and I don't think they offered the replacement bolt set like Skyway did. You could probably drill out the rivets and get some suitable bolts from B&Q to refit the hub. While you're at it you could give the hub plate a rub with some wet and dry to shine it up. That galvanised finish is just awful.

I've restored my Simplex mags. The rear was like yours. I've replaced the rivets with bolts of the same diameter and tightened with nuts with Nylstop and they go well.

It's not a stupid question. Nylstop is a nut with nylon on the end of the threads who secures or locks the nut on the bolt.
