Just bought this seat from a fellow Rad member with one resto intention in mind ... LEATHER

BEFORE - well beaten and the chrome rails were shot which was a real shame

AFTER - a new leather jacket and fresh decals it's now fit for a DFS

I had to resort to painting the rails but I'm still well pleased with the finished result ... what d'you reckon

there was fook all wrong with that seat. perfect for the OS series.

looks tidy though. not sure about the new school rails though

How did you get it to stretch over so flat ? Did you glue as you went along, smoothing it out ? Doesn't look to be any raised or bubbled bits

PMSL here ... DFS have no idea about real leather seats and I bet none of them will be around in +25 years either

It's actually alot easier than it looks ... use a high impact adhesive on both surfaces, leave it to partially dry (until tacky) and hey presto
