« on: April 25, 2009, 04:05 PM »
Ok this is my latest an Ammaco pro from 1985. Ive really enjoyed this one. Thanks to the following for all there help.

OBB lots of advice Burnerworld
F&F powder Mark FHM
Skyways Zippy Burnerworld
Seat and stem polish Russ J Burnerworld
Pedals JT Smooth
All other parts refurbed by myself.

I orginaly only brought the bike for the pro class wheels for my Mongoose Butts is currently refurbing these. Anyway on with the show.

Before as brought from a guy in Bournemouth where it had sat in a shed for the past 20 odd years.

Split down ready for the refurb to begin.

F&F Freshly coated

All the bits back together to re build

Next on to the decals done dry Demo by the way its easy mate just do it.

1 1/2  hours later and hey presto all complete.

I even found time today to put up the tent ready for the Burnerworldbash...next week to make sure it has not got any holes in it since last year

Looks fantastic although I'd pull the bars back a fair bit as they are way forward and have you got the l/h fork decal the wrong way?  :-\

You've made an excellent job of bringing it back to its former glory.

I had the exact same Freestyle Pro in '84, same colour scheme white/blue except had Tuff II's...totally loved that bike, so seeing your resto job brings back memories.

Put it in my uncles garage for storage and recently found out he threw it out as he was fed up with it cluttering up his garage!....The bast*rd! Mind you he did have it for nearly 20yrs.

If you ever have intentions of selling this BadBoy, please give me a shout....would love to have a Freestyle Pro cluttering up my shed

Cheers
