Landing Gear forks ?

Just wondered ,Do some L.GS have 2 holes instead of 3.
just came across a set with 2 holes,are they an earlier set on what?

S**t myself at first thought mine could be copies,until i went into the museum and all the L.G have 3 holes

the ones i was looking at must have being 90s ones but without the logo stamped on the bottom(unusual)
