I dont really get them. Has no one seen 6ft+ BMXer rippin it on a 20" bike?  :-\

It wasnt a great add for the bikes at creation. They had their top rider riding a 22" bike. He as really good, and shreding on the 22. Then he got on his 20" bike, and was even better. From what I could tell, even he would rather just ride 20"?

Im not gonna go off too much about this one but 22inch bikes and bmx have fook all to do with each other!
Its like saying i race moto x but use a quad bike lol
Fair enough they may be ok for trails etc, maybe even in parks but they are not bmx related at all. When i see mountain bikes in parks there not bmx are they!
Bmx is bmx,the day i see a 22inch in the hands of Bestwick on vert is the day i burn my bike lol.
I may get slated for this,i know every has own opinion and some riders may like them but i love my bmx and if it was any bigger it would be wrong.

for me BMX is 20"

not 16", not 18" not 24" and not 26" so therefore not 22" either. Just 20s.

however i do like to see something new and these boys are just following their dream, so good luck to em, i like the look of their product and I liek thier enthusiasm, and wether its a bmx or not, these boys do love bmx.

but for me its 20" all the way.

If they look and feel like BMX bikes, regardless of the wheel size, they are BMX bikes.  I just don't know why we need to add another wheel size when 20" (and 24" for cruisers) has been the accepted wheel size for almost 3 decades now.

But let's not hate on Faction for trying to be different.  It's a niche of BMX that there might be a market for, but I doubt it will become the norm in our lifetimes (if ever).  It's still riding.

I can see the point from both sides. I do maintain that pure BMX will allways be 20" but there could be a market for a bigger bike . case in fact , my mates mrs wanted to get him a bmx for xmas last year. hes 6 foot 2 and wont ride park or dirt or race. he wanted one to do endos while going to his mums , taking kids to school  etcif there was this option back then i would have advised her on this but then again they were above her  price range !

As I've said before how can you define this bike as a bmx, its no more a bmx than a 24 or 26" single speed MTB running rigid forks.

In theory it`s a good idea, wether or not it`ll be a raging success is another thing. Then again, aheadsets and mid/Spanish bbs took a while to get used to.

Most people can tell the difference between a BMX bike and a mountain bike.

Despite the wheel size, those Factions look like a BMX bike to me and look nothing like a mountain bike.

A faction bike was featured on the gadget show this week (check out the Saturday morning repeat. 25/04/09)  bit random for a gadget show but anyway i kinda liked the look of it. has anyone actually ridden one? i wouldn't mind giving it a go. most of my time nowadays is spend riding 26inchers going to work or downhilling and when i get back on a bmx it does feel small, specially with the modern fashion of having the bars leaning towards my knees!! i kinda thought this upscaled compromise might be the answer?
