i have spme black tuffs with brake rub,
the brake pads used where black but whats the best way to remove it.
i know of the stanley blade way but any other way?

I saw a set of tuffs get media blasted over on bmxmuseum. I have NEVER seen a set of tufs look so good after a refurb.
Its an option but i normally bleach all of my coloured tufs. It weakens the rub and it comes off easy with just a kitchen green abrasive scrub.

I managed to get some bad black brake rub off some white tuffs with some very hot soapy water and a scourer (yellow & green sponge)
Now they look very nice
