Just want your opinions on my old creamy yellow zytecs, that i've just tried dying a blue colour?? ;D

they look quite good
dying is the way to go with "white" zytecs
i bleached mine for a fortnight and they came up a kind of ivory colour

how many tubbage of the dye did you use?

I think four works well?

I am guessing that you used No. 18 ??

I got an originl set in blue off ebay a while back, you'rs look pretty similar to mine colour wise..

They have dyed even enough,a bit pale around the hubs though.You can still see the original texture of the wheels through the blue.
I only used 3 Dylons,think it was number 18(royal blue). I probably used too much water because it was hard to find something perfect to submerge them both in together.I ended up cutting the bottom of a plastic 200ltr drum.I noticed that were i sanded them down slightly and cut the reflector lug off,it  seemed to take better.
Im gonna try dying them again next week.Whatever colour they end up,it'll be better than the ivory stained colour me thinks! :daumenhoch:
