Kusuki stem
« on: January 07, 2009, 08:21 PM »
I've been hanging on for a gold stem to come up for sale but there doesn't seem any about. There is however a gold kusuki stem on ebay. Anyone know whether these are reasonable mid 80's stems, or should I hang on longer for a suntour or the likes.

Cheers F.S.

Oh, pps, I've been looking for a gold headset as well. I've seen every colour but gold. Are these rare as well?

Well that sounds about right. Try and build a reasonably priced bmx and happen to like the most expensive and rare parts without knowing it. :idiot2:

Might be cheaper to buy all silver bits and hire one of those gold electroplate kit things then do your full bike? There was a full set of gold bits on ebay. It was all ruption stuff so not old school but im sure it had a full headset and bottom bracket on there if its still there.

Yes I just checked and its at £30 with no bids and 8 hours to go
