My daughter Ellie is in training for next years nationals and is only just 3 yrs old, she is so keen and is on the bike in the kitchen
when i do my training next to her, hopefully she will be riding her bike on her own soon in the car park with out me holding her

You're lucky Jai.

My eldest learned to ride at 4, did his first race a few months later, then lost interest in BMX once he got to school and discovered football, karate, Harry Potter ( ) and chess!

Now I can barely get him go to races and when he does he doesn't even try.

I don't push him when it comes to BMX as I hope he'll eventually get back into it and start trying, but I must admit it's a bit disappointing that he doesn't share my level of interest in BMX.

My daughter Daisy is now 19months old and loved being in the workshop with me clattering spanners and screwdrivers around when im wokring on bikes! Hopefully she'll take after your Ellie!
