Renthal seat post
« on: November 21, 2008, 10:36 PM »
Can someone tell me the length of the Renthal straight post? Also, would I be able to cut the end of a layback and acheive the same length as the straight one or would it be too short? Cheers.

That depends if you're gonna ride it mate - I've seen some old seat posts that were friggin tiny :uglystupid2:
If you're not ridin it you could pinch it with the seat post clamp right close to the end of the post and leave a very slight bit of the lay bend when you chop it (just enough to snug into the seat guts and be hidden away)  and end up with a respectable length (pardon !)
mongoositis - an expensive disease......
