What frame is this...
« on: November 09, 2008, 04:46 PM »
My friend found a frame at the back of his shop, it has G0584 stamped in the dropouts, its chrome and looks like a widow maker to me. Can anyone help me out?

Ta, Jake.

Pictures would be good mate.

My sons Falcon Pro cruiser has GO784 stamped on one of the drop outs.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

Any idea how much the frame would be worth?

Price wise ?????????  I reckon about £85 ish for a decent frameset, could be wrong though. :-\ :-\ but i wouldn't be a million miles out.

The frames with these type of numbers can be badged from a variety of manufacturers, they are Taiwanese made usually with similar drop outs, see my Schwinn as an example

You could check the head tube also to see if it has holes from a riveted head badge as that may help cut down the number of potential makes, I think Giant and Falcon have used proper badges in the past!
