It begins...

Hullo everybody...

Thought I'd say hello - a mate got me back into BMX and convinced me it would be a good idea to do a build, I understand that hard drug suppliers operate in a similar fashion - get the punter excited by how much fun it all is, then watch as all their money dissapears! (Only kidding John).

Anyway, started with this off ebay

And I'm starting to gather a few choice parts.

I'm not too bothered about it being an accurate model (don't mean to upset the purists) because it's going to get ridden, and hard too.

It's not all splurging money on the 'bay - I'm currently restoring the wheels - they seem to have been brush painted in white enamel!?

cheers guys...

Tequila and Nitromors, both will give you a thumping headache if you overdo it on a weekend I tells thee...

my kitchen boasts eco-friendly detergents alongside Tequila, Tabasco, Canadian Club and a large can of Helmet & Visor Cleaner - every possibility covered.  ;)

I should manage to put the final coat of black rattle-can on the wheels tonight so I can rebuild them Friday in time for a quick blast round Milton Keynes BMX track on Saturday. Score!
