New Find - Mongoose F&F ID PLease
« on: January 15, 2006, 03:31 PM »
Hi allĀ  ;)

I've been at it again, I went out and took photo's of some stuff in my shed - 16" - Universals, Piranha, Mitygoose, Striker 16, plus all the old 20" stuff thinking of shifting some and what I could use etc...

Anyway I was passing a place that I regulary visit and guess what - another top find, saved from crushing.

Any ideas on Frame and Forks - ID is M3 - K9598 , How do you tell the difference between Super, Cali, Pro etc? And what is the Mongoose order - Bottom of range to the Top of the range.

It has Acorn Mags, SR Stem, Rear Black and White (REFLECTIVE - Haro Thunderbolt cable? - when was the last time you saw one of those?), Mongoose Spider, MX Clamp, MX Brakes, BLACK HEADSET & BB.

So ID Help please, it is in great nick, no dings that I have found so far (I'm very excited) and the chrome should polish up well.

It is very light so any help please, thanks -

PS - I have just given it a quick polish and it is coming up well. I have sprayed it all over with WD for a strip next week and have noticed on the Front MX washer PRO CLASS. Is it one???????

The Pro Class also has the serial number stamped on the square tubing behind the bottom bracket, the cali's, experts etc have the serial on the bottom bracket like yours.

That is because it has had a repair on the brake bridge, I am in the process of getting that fixed.  I managed to find a very badly broken Supergoose that had the correct brake bridge and I am having it professionally transferred.
