i'd have no problem buying a full bike at whatever price, if i wanted it, but most like to build there own.

i do.

i dont understand why no one bought my VDC though, as obviously its the best one ever done, miles better than that other shit in the museum.

fook it...

i'm so fooking great it doesnt matter :D

No probs Paul. You were one of the lucky ones mate that started collecting ages ago! :daumenhoch:

Another point i have to make is that ebay is FULL of shill bidding. DX's in silver for over £300! Then the geezer goes and sells other average parts for astronomical dough. Makes you wonder. :-\  Is this why prices look inflated too?

:) Don`t think all your collections will ever be worthless! All the reasons given so far as to why good stuff isn`t selling seem valid.I do think that some of you start/join in certain trends albeit unintentionally,ie someone posts a pic of a PK/Master/whatever that looks a bit tasty and then others think,"Mmm,I`ll have a bash at one of those."then the prices seem to go up as demand suddenly increases.Just the way things are I suppose.

Collections are worthless?

I dont think so. Yes those who bought NOS loopy rippers for 1k and used JMC's for more must be getting a bit worried but did they buy them for an investement or because they wanted to collect and keep. Anything collectable goes up and down in value just like the price of sprouts. Like the stock market its a gamble.

I'm getting well worried cos I had to part with a whole £10 for my Aerospeeds  ::)
