Rom for me too, still is  :coolsmiley:
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge

In Sydney where I used to live, the best bowl was Fivedock. I lived there every saturday and sunday. It was a 2 hour trip on a train and riding. It was worth it though.

I used to spend most days at Bristol race track or St Georges skate park in Bristol.  Both still there and going strong.

Southbank use to visit my cousin in the big smoke a lot in the 80's, Southport race track and Edge lane liverpool. Not exactly a mecca but most of my memories come from just riding in Birkenhead park with my mates.

Rom for me too, we used to get there on the District line, from Wimbledon Park to Elm Park I think, about 30 something stops.
Also Southbank, would ride there from Streatham.

I'm sure we've probably met then because i used to go with Dean Rush and the Zoid, also rode with Lee Reynolds and Mike Canning there a few times and that would've been around 87-89. Wonder what ever happened to Graham Marfleet, always seemed like a nice guy and good rider. Stopped going there when someone tried to mug me and a couple of mates at the train station and my mate threw one of the muggers on the track!!!! never went back after that!

Has to be Southbank really.  The first place that I really felt I fitted.  I used to go there with Paul Zak, and Paul Gerlach.  Loved it. Then met Aju, Colin Platts, etc all.  The Romford, and then Chingford. Rom was ace, but the Chingford lot were just sooo funny.  I think Davros is still in the scene now. I got my head cracked at Southbank by Jason Lunn.  In hindsight, we were both a couple of w*nkers, so I don't harbour any I'll feelings to him.

Also, going to get a new bike once I get my Bonus in March! Had far too many solicitors bills lately to buy a bike before now  :'(
